What it does
Built from the library
The answer is assembled from Sri Lankan statutes and judgments in the library, not recalled from a model's memory.
Every citation opens
Each authority opens from the sentence that cites it and from the list under the answer. A citation that does not lead to a real source is removed before you see it.
Read against its sources
Before an answer reaches you, a second reading compares it with the statutes and with each source it cites.
The law as it stands
A statute's current text comes before older wording quoted in a judgment, and an older case is labelled where it was decided on former wording.
Follow-up questions
Keep narrowing the question over the sources already found, for less than a new search.
Deep research
For a harder question, Deep research plans its own line of enquiry over several rounds of searching, then reports back. It is for practising lawyers.
